Arrow Video breaks into the 4K Ultra HD arena with the up and coming release of Pitch Black, the horror/sci-fi movie from 2000 that acquainted us with Vin Diesel’s Richard B. Riddick.
The character, a Furyan convict-turned-screw-up monster-slayer, subsequently showed up in 2004’s The Chronicles of Riddick and 2013’s Riddick. A fourth film is as of now in the works.
Arrow gives Pitch Black its 4K Ultra HD debut in a release that is going to the US, UK, and Canada, releasing in the UK on August seventeenth and in the US on August eighteenth, 2020.
At the point when a transport ship crashes on a remote desert planet with no sign of help on the horizon, drove by Fry (Radha Mitchell), the survivors, band together to find the path for back home.
Among the passengers is Riddick (Vin Diesel), a sentenced murderer being transported by marshal Johns (Cole Hauser) – and now liberated of his chains and unhindered. But as a solar eclipse plunges the planet into absolute darkness, a danger far and away more terrible than Riddick reveals itself, and the last humans standing may need to shape an uneasy ceasefire with the guile outlaw (whose eyes have been surgically changed to see in obscurity) to last the difficult night.
Directed by David Twohy, Riddick’s first trip is freshly unleashed in an illuminating, brand new 4K restoration, with the release including hours of exclusive bonus content.
